Scott has over 30 years of executive management experience leading law firms and nonprofit associations. As Principal of The Swirling Group, LLC, he specializes in project/construction and transition management for law firms, professional service and non-profit organizations, and other businesses engaged in new office construction, in-place renovation, and/or relocation.
Prior to launching his firm, Scott had been chief operating officer for Washington, D.C. law firms (Krupin O’Brien; Antonelli, Terry, Stout & Kraus) and the Office Administrator for branch offices in Washington, D.C. of international law firms (Katten Muchin Zavis & Dombroff; Schiff, Hardin & Waite; Brown & Wood; Dorsey & Whitney).
While active in the Association of Legal Administrators, Scott served as President (2001-2002) of the association’s Capital Chapter. Prior to becoming a law firm administrator, Scott served as Executive Director of the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) and of the National Family Planning & Reproductive Health Association (NFPRHA).
Scott received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the George Washington University and his Master of Arts degree in Political Science from Rutgers University.
